  • The Senators Varsity Boys Basketball team continued their strong stretch of play on Friday night, defeating U-High 47–34.

We set the tone early with disciplined defense and steady offensive execution, building momentum throughout the game. We were able to control the pace of the game and made key stops when needed, limiting U-High’s scoring opportunities.

Elijah Wade led all scorers for Springfield with 13 points. The Senators also received major contributions across the lineup, helping maintain control from start to finish.

With the win, varsity improved to 2–0 at home and secured its fourth consecutive victory, continuing to build confidence as the season progresses.

Despite a late second half push, JV was unable to pull out the comeback win. Cheer them back on to the winning side.

The Boys Basketball team is back in action on Tuesday, Dec. 16 when they travel to play the Bloomington Purple Raiders.

And Now the Pledge of Allegiance:
