The baseball team showed a lot of improvement from last week, but still fell 1 to nothing to the Titans of Glenwood. Brody Scheffler pitched an outstanding game in going the distance to strike out 12 and walk only 1 while allowing only 3 hits and an unearned run. Unfortunately, the Titan pitchers also threw well and held the Senators to only two hits, one apiece from Liam Watts and Wade Snider. The Solons next game is scheduled for today pending rain against Lanphier in a 4:30 contest at Robin Roberts Stadium.
The softball team battled hard against the number 3 ranked team in the state yesterday, but came up short losing 6 to 1 to Glenwood. Mia Volpert struck out 17 in the loss and also had a solo home run and a double. Bella Pagliara and Chloe Scheffler both had hits in the game!
The soccer team defeated Jacksonville 7-0 last night. Addie Maddox, Ainsley Lambert 2 goals, Kamryn Hoffman 2 goals , and Bridget Lyons 2 goals scored for the Senators. Lydia Auble earned the shut out.
