SE Spartan Announcements

Good Morning Southeast students and staff. It's Monday, May 12th, 2025! I’m _____________.

Remember that successful Spartans ARE RESPECTFUL, they follow classroom and school-wide expectations, allow for learning throughout the building, and can think critically.

And now for a moment of silence to start our day…Thank you.

General Inf0

Hey Spartans, if you are ever absent or just want to go back to see announcements because something really cool caught your attention.

Go to the Southeast webpage, scroll down and you will see the current announcements. If you want to see older announcements, click on SEE ALL POSTS.

From there you can click on any date, and either view the video, or quickly read through the printed copy to find practice times, club announcements, or just general information.

The library is closed for lunch for the remainder of the school year. Please stay in the cafeteria, commons, or courtyard to eat. All library books are due 5/20.

Attention students taking AP exams! If you are taking an AP exam, you must arrive on time with a fully charged school-issued computer! We DO NOT provide computers or chargers. Each student was given a reminder slip about their exam time and location!

Any senior interested in getting their cap and gown picture taken, Grussenmeyers Photographer will be here before the Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, May 14 from 5:00-5:45 in the Taylor Street Lobby. Order forms are in the main office and a link to the order form is on the school's website. This is a great way to get a professional picture taken at a reasonable cost!  Bring your payment on that day or bring it to Mrs. Laub in room 208 ahead of time!

Prom will be Saturday, May 17 at Erin’s Pavilion from 7-10.  If you are bringing a date that does not attend Southeast, you MUST fill out a date request form. They are found in the main office and need to be filled out and returned by May 14th.  No exceptions.

Tickets will be on sale starting May 12 in the commons during lunch shifts.  Tickets are $25, or $30 at the door.

If anyone attending prom is still in need of a prom dress, Ms. Beenenga has 4 prom dresses up for grabs...they are small in size and it's a first come, first serve basis. sizes seem to be around size 2-4. come to the art room 104 to look and try them on.

Boys and girls, I know the weather is getting nicer out, but the dress code must still be followed.

PLEASE no short shorts and skirts, or crop tops. All shorts or skirts per dress code need to be mid thigh or longer!

Also, if you are going to wear a dress with a sweater over it, you must keep that sweater ON AT ALL TIMES, even at lunch on the courtyard, if the dress top does not meet dress code rules.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month! Our very own Kylie Bruce started the ice bucket challenge for Mental health Awareness here at Southeast. If you want to participate and/or get nominated please do not do this during the school day, but we would love to help you complete it after school on the courtyard anytime!
