Ashley Watson completed her senior cross-country career at the Olney Sectional on Saturday. She ran a very good race. We are very proud of her accomplishments the last 4 years and our coaches were very happy coach her!

Mr. Anderson's History class researched historical figures! Students had to find a famous quote by the person, choose a vocabulary word that correlates to the quote, add two facts about the person and list their life in a timeline with dates. Students did a great job!


We are happy to announce that Ashley Watson placed 27th at the Jacksonville Cross-Country Regionals on Saturday. That means that she qualified to this upcoming weekend's Olney Sectionals that will be held at Olney Central College. We are so proud of her!


Come to Lanphier High School tomorrow , October 26th from 10 am - 1 p.m. to experience the guided tours to see the new Lanphier! We look forward to seeing you there!

As a reminder, Thursday, October 17th, will be a 60-minute early dismissal for all students to accommodate Parent-Teacher Conferences. Additionally, there will be no school on Friday, October 18th, as conferences will continue throughout the day.
We value the opportunity to connect with you during these conferences to discuss your child’s academic progress and growth. Your involvement and partnership are essential to their success, and we appreciate your commitment to their educational journey.
Please be sure to plan accordingly for the schedule changes for the remainder of the week.

Our students took a chance to see if they were up for the challenge of being always ready, and tackled the Army National Guard's obstacle course! We are thankful that they were able to bring it in to our gym today. It is such a neat experience for all of our students to experience!







Parent/Teacher Conferences will take place on Thursday (10/17) evening and Friday (10/18) during the day. If you'd like to schedule a conference with one of your student's teachers, please send them an email, or give the school a call. You can leave the teacher a voice mail and they can call you back to set up a time to meet.


Tutoring, Credit Recovery, and PM Program are cancelled on Thursday, October 17th due to Parent Teacher Conferences.

Our Post Secondary Coach, Mr. Metzke, took students to visit Lincoln Land Community College and University of Illinois Springfield, today! Students were able to visit the newly renovated admissions center at LLCC. They were all able to see what type of post secondary ation they can receive in their own hometown.








Students in our Spanish courses are studying influential Hispanics and their contributions to society for Hispanic Heritage Month!
